We used to have a rather cantankerous shop teacher at my school. It was easy to think of him as cranky. But in truth he is one of those people that seems a prickly on the outside but is all glitter and rainbows on the inside. The kind of guy who always shows up for you. Anyways, I’m getting mushy. He is retired now and I miss him. His Grandkids call him Grumpy. This sour faced yet adorable fledgeling made me think of him.
